Personalized treatment for your needs

Customizable Chiropractic Care

At Roots & Wings Chiropractic, located in downtown Cincinnati, we understand that each individual’s needs are different, and that the care plans should be a reflection of this. Dr. Kate specializes in several different technique styles, from low force instrument tonal adjusting to more hands-on manual adjusting. After the initial consultation, exam, and X-Rays, Dr. Kate will sit down with you and decide what the most effective approach to care will be for you. One thing you can be sure of is that you will not see every patient walking in and receiving the exact same adjustments like in some offices. The type of care received as well as the estimated number of visits per care plan are largely determined from the case history, exam, and X-Ray findings.

Some techniques that Dr. Kate may utilize for your care are:

  • Side Posture Toggle (upper cervical specific)

  • Torque Release Technique (low force instrument)

  • Diversified

  • Thompson Drop

  • Full Spine Gonstead

  • Webster (Pregnancy specific)

  • Low Force Pediatric techniques

Dry Needling

Dr. Kate is certified in Integrative Dry Needling through Dr. Ma’s Integrative Dry Needling Institute. IDN is the practice of inserting a tiny monofilament needle into symptomatic tissue with the intent to reduce pain, increase circulation and improve function of the neuromusculoskeletal system. DN is not traditional Chinese Acupuncture, but instead is based on neurology, physiology and western medical principles. DN is a valuable treatment for musculoskeletal pain. Dr. Kate may deem Dry Needling necessary as an adjunct to chiropractic care if neuromuscular trigger points are found. Integrative Dry Needling may also be used as a systemic, full body preventative method for reducing nerve inflammation. Talk to Dr. Kate and ask if incorporating DN into your chiropractic care plan is right for you.
